Instead of having it done, the whitening method, which is a more protective method, is applied and at the end of this method, the teeth can be opened up to 8-10 tons depending on their condition.

Office Type Teeth Whitening

After isolating all soft tissues with a light-curing barrier, the whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated by light. The process can be repeated until the desired whiteness is achieved. In this way, two sessions are held one week apart.

Home Type Teeth Whitening

From this measurement, a thin plate that fits perfectly on the teeth is prepared. Before going to bed at night, tooth whitening gel is applied into the plaque and the plaque is attached to the teeth. The whitening process takes place during sleep. The duration of treatment is 1-2 weeks.

There is no harm in the teeth whitening process performed under the control of the dentist. The process becomes even more reliable with the fluoride applications of the dentist after whitening. Whitening products sold in pharmacies can damage the teeth.

What are the Side Effects of Teeth Whitening?

All whitening gels can cause more or less sensitivity. This varies from person to person and can develop with cold or hot drinks. In case of sensitivity, topical fluoride applied by the dentist will help reduce this tooth sensitivity. In addition, toothpastes containing potassium nitrate and high fluoride can be used to reduce sensitivity.

How Long Is Teeth Whitening Effective?
